POST COMMANDER
Greetings, I hope everyone of our Legion family is healthy and happy. As the new year unfolds, we need to rededicate our selves and our post to SERVICE. Service to our veterans, our active duty, our children and our family. We need to continue to do what we have always done and come up with new ideas to accomplish our mission. With that in mind, we currantly have a fundraiser to support the Legacy Fund. This fund gives scholarships to the children of active duty soldiers who have died since 911. I strongly urge you all to participate by purchasing a ticket. Also, the annual spring golf tournament is April 22. Get a team together and enter. You will have fun and support Legion projects.

For those members who have not renewed, come the first of February you will not be allowed to participate in any legion functions and or use the canteen.
Membership is coming along slowly. We are close but we still have not reached the mark that will make Post 192 a 100% post.

Cassie Parker has assumed duties as President of the auxiliary. Nothing further at this time.

Happy February to All. Our next sons meeting will be held on February 6th @ 7 PM. Come on out and let us know if you have any creative ideas or projects for the sons.
The gold tournament is on April 22, 2012 @ 8:30 AM. If anyone wants to volunteer (help with hole sponsors, collect teams, door prize gifts, hall set up, set up at the golf course) let Rick Parker (706-231-1497) or Chris Parker (706-294-1614) know ASAP. We expect this tournament to be the best we have ever had to date.
On February 18th, 2012 @ 12 noon Post 192 will be having a Horse Shoe Tournament. If anyone wants to participate contact Rick Parker (706-231-1497) or talk to a bartender.
And don't forget the great lunches on Wednesday's from 12 noon - 2 PM. All the donations benefit "Feed the Veterans" and "Relay for Life."
