Text Box: Election time again. Where did this year go? A lot was acomplished but there is more to do. We want to put up 2 new flagpoles and lights to enable us to fly the AL flag and be in compliance with the flag code. We would like to build a large pavilion to allow for outdoor activities in a pleasant atmosphere. These are some items we would like to work on this coming year. We have aN Independence Day picnic planned for July 03, 2011 that will be free to all members, especially the children. We have plans for BBQ pork, Grilled chicken, hamburgers and a wienie roast over a fire. We will also have corn, beans, cole slaw, marshmallow roast, watermelon and more. Plans are still being formulated and if you have any ideas, let an officer know. P.S.we are looking into a dunking booth so you can soak some of your favorite people, like Miriam, Pansy or anyone who will volunteer. The VA vets still come here 2 timeS a month and they still crave conversation with veterans. Come out and share some stories with them.
